The following items involve certain activities happening at the church or outside events the church may be involved with in the near future.
If you are interested in any of the below announcements, please speak to clergy or the executive board about them in person before or after Sunday service.
We are currently collecting donations for our non-perishable food drive in collaboration with the Bristol Interfaith Coalition. All donations will be distributed to Brian's Angels Homeless Outreach at the Interfaith Thanksgiving service that take place on November 26th.
You may bring donations to church during active hours and place them in the box located in the front door foyer.
Please only donated items in cans or hard plastic (no bags or cardboard boxes)
Our Autumn Psychi Fair will take place Saturday October 18th from 11 am to 4 pm.
You may pre-register for a time slot by using the Contact tab on the website or by sending a private message to the facebook page.
In order to secure a reservation, we will need:
- A full name (first and last)
- A valid phone number
- A specific time frame
- The type of reading you are requesting
Readings are 1 on 1. Each individual must make their own reservation. Only 1 reservation per person is permitted.
The cutoff for reservations is Tuesday October 14th at 12 pm.
Our 18 and over Samhain ritual will be taking place Saturday October 25th.
A few reminders -
There is no cost to attend this event.
Ritual begins promptly at 7:00 pm. Please try to arrive early to park and get situated, as this is our most attended event of the year.
You may dress in any manner that you wish, whether is be garb, costume, or regular clothes. Just make sure to dress warmly because we will be outdoors, no matter the weather conditions.
No alcohol is allowed at this event. Please do not arrive under the influence of alcohol or other inhibiting substances.
There is no potluck after this particular ritual, but there will be music and bonfire are camaraderie.
Our next Sabbat of the year will be held on Sunday October 26th.
Weather permitting, we hope to have service will be outdoors. However, if we need to hold it indoors we would like to remind everyone that seating is limited, and arriving early is preferred.
You may garb if you like for ritual, however it is not a requirement.
Ritual will begin promptly at 2:00 pm.
Also, don't forget to bring something for the post-ritual potluck. The dish theme is traditional Thanksgiving-style foods. Please be sure what you bring is already fully cooked. The oven and warming trays are only able to be used to keep items heated up on holidays.
If you do not have the time to make something, a store bought item or beverages are always a welcome donation. We also understand some people just cannot spare the funds or effort to bring something. Do not let this deter you from joining us. All are welcome.
Finally, if you have lost a loved one in the past year (whether it be a friend, family member, or pet) we encourage you to bring a rock to add to our ancestors burial mound in honor of their memory.
