The following items involve certain activities happening at the church or outside events the church may be involved with in the near future.
If you are interested in any of the below announcements, please speak to clergy or the executive board about them in person before or after Sunday service.
End of Summer Festival iTINERARY
The full schedule of events for our End of Summer Festival on August 30th is as follows -
$10/10 minute Tarot Card Readings time blocks:
(Readings are first come, first served. No reservations)
12:00pm – 1:30 pm
2:00 pm – 4:00 pm
Link Hullar: 12:30 pm (South Lawn)
Intro to Crystals w/ Ministerial Student Corie: 1:00pm (Indoors)
Rosemari Roast: 2:00pm (Indoors)
Danny Lee Babbitt: 3:00pm (South Lawn)
Bayt al-Asad fight demonstration – 4:00 pm (South Lawn)
Thaea: 5:00 pm (South Lawn)
Procession of the Goddess Ritual: 6:15pm (South Lawn)
Traditional festival ritual, this year being lead by Rev iris
(Participation is not mandatory, but please be respectful of ritual space)
Bonfire: 7:15pm (South Lawn)
Concessions and 50/50 raffle tickets will be available all day at the tent located at the tent next to the back door of the church.
Mabon Celebration
Our next Sabbat of the year will be held on Sunday September 21st.
Weather permitting, we hope to have service will be outdoors. However, if we need to hold it indoors we would like to remind everyone that seating is limited, and arriving early is preferred.
You may garb if you like for ritual, however it is not a requirement.
Ritual will begin promptly at 2:00 pm.
Also, don't forget to bring something for the post-ritual potluck. The dish theme is summer picnic/cookout foods. Please be sure what you bring is already fully cooked. The oven and warming trays are only able to be used to keep items heated up on holidays.
If you do not have the time to make something, a store bought item or beverages are always a welcome donation. We also understand some people just cannot spare the funds or effort to bring something. Do not let this deter you from joining us. All are welcome.
Lawnmower
We are currently looking to purchase a used riding lawnmower for church use. If you are selling one or know of someone selling one, please let us know.
